DELIVERY / COLLECTION
WHERE DO YOU DELIVER & HOW MUCH DOES IT COST?
Yes we do deliver! Prices start from £8. We currently can only deliver to London postcodes. Please email us at to enquire about delivery costs.
CAN I COLLECT INSTEAD OF PAYING FOR DELIVERY?
Yes, it's possible to collect your cake from our standard collections. It will be boxed up all nicely for you. We recommend that you take a taxi or collect in your car as the cakes can be quite heavy to carry. They travel quite well in the foot-well of the car where it is level.
WHERE DO I COLLECT MY CAKE FROM?
Our kitchen is based in N1 London, near to the Canonbury overground station . We will supply our address upon payment completion. Remember to let us know when you’ll be coming!
DO YOU DELIVER OUTSIDE OF LONDON?
Standard Collections: We currently do not deliver outside of London on our standard collections. However, you may collect from us.
The Full Works - completely bespoke service: If you would like to order a completely bespoke service, to feed over 50 people, then please contact us and we may be able to deliver outside of London. Very large cakes require assembling and finishing in the venue on the day of the event; therefore we would need to travel anyway in this situation. If we agree to fulfil an order outside of London an additional amount will be charged for our time and travel, quoted to you in advance on your order invoice.
CAKE SERVING & STORAGE
DO I NEED TO STORE MY CAKE IN THE FRIDGE?
Never store cakes covered in fondant icing in the fridge, so this would be the ones from our 'Fancy Fondant' collection.
For other cakes:
If you are going to be serving the cake the same day that it is delivered, you will not need to keep it in the fridge. Just make sure it is in a cool place & not in direct sunlight.
If the cake is to be served the following day, then keep it in the box in the fridge overnight. Let it come to room temperature before serving. We strongly advise that you organise delivery for the day that the cake is to be eaten for best quality.
HOW DO I CUT THE CAKE?
The portion sizes quoted on the website are for a cake cut in to triangular slices the way most people expect to cut cake.
ALLERGENS & SPECIAL DIETS
CAN YOU MAKE A NUT FREE CAKE?
Yes! Please let us know on your booking form in the 'Allergies or Dietary Requirements'. Our cakes can be made without nuts, upon request, however we must stress that despite taking great care the same mixing bowls and utensils are used for all cakes and products, therefore cannot guarantee that a cake will be100% free from nuts and all other allergens.
DO YOU CATER FOR DAIRY FREE OR VEGAN?
Yes we can! We have a number of cake flavours and icings that can be made dairy-free or vegan suitable. However, not all the toppings can be made without eggs so are not suitable for Vegan or dairy free diets. Please specify your dietary requirements when ordering your cake and we will advise of on what is suitable/available for your diet.
CAN YOU MAKE GLUTEN FREE CAKES?
Unfortunately we do not currently make gluten free cakes.
PLEASE NOTE: Our 'Fancy Fondant' range cannot currently be made vegan due to the gelatine present in fondant icing.
WHAT VEGAN FLAVOURS DO YOU HAVE, IS IT JUST BANANA?
We can make our Rich Chocolate, Rich Chocolate & Raspberry, Lemon & rose, Citrusy Lemon, Lemon & Raspberry, carrot cake into vegan versions. This is in addition to our two advertised vegan banana cakes. Please let us know on your booking form in the 'Allergies or Dietary Requirements' section if you require your cake to be completely vegan.
ORDERING A CAKE
HOW MUCH NOTICE DO YOU NEED?
If you are ordering a cake from our collections we advise that you order your cake at least one week in advance. For completely bespoke orders (The full works) we need at least two weeks notice. We advise that you order as soon as possible. However, please contact us if you have less time than this and we will see what we can do!
HOW DO I ORDER A CAKE?
Take a look at each of our cake collections on the website, then fill in the order form the page of the collection you like best. Alternatively, contact us from our contact page or drop us an email at with images and ideas of what you would like.
IF I SUBMIT AN ORDER FORM, DOES THAT MEAN MY ORDER IS ACCEPTED?
No, we need to reply to you in writing that we can fit your order in our schedule, we also need to take payment to accept your order.
CAN I CHANGE MY MIND ABOUT SOMETHING?
It might be possible, it depends on what you would like to change and how much time is left before delivery. Please contact us immediately should you change your mind about anything. Changes to your order may be subject to further charges that must be paid immediately.
